To determine the length of stud that you need, the best way to
do it is to measure the length of the threaded portion of the stock
stud and add the width of the spacer to that measurement. This
result will be the ideal length of wheel stud you need. If the
exact length of the stud that you need is not available, it is
generally safer to go with a slightly longer stud than the ideal
length.
